What is the difference between a Standard and Extended Songbay licence?

Both licences are worldwide, non-exclusive and limited to one project. For music, Standard permits the original recording to be used with technical edits such as trimming, fades and level changes. Extended permits broader adaptation, including remixing, rearranging or making a new recording.

For lyrics, Standard permits one song to be created with sections omitted, repeated, shortened or reordered and minor performance-led edits. Extended permits broader rewriting, restructuring or translation.

Film, games, animation and musical theatre require separate written project-specific permission. See the full licence terms.
