How can I find collaborators or let artists know I am open to songwriting collaborations?

Collaboration is a major part of Songbay. Many songwriters, lyricists, composers, producers, artists, and buyers use Songbay specifically to find original material and connect with other creators.

Members can use the networking and collaboration tools in the Songbay dashboard, including the messaging area, live chat/contact functions, online user tools, latest work offers, and the wider collaboration zone. Artists and buyers can also contact you directly through the contact links on your artist page or on individual song and lyric listing pages.

If you are open to collaboration, we recommend making this clear in your artist profile/resume and in your lyric or song descriptions. Explain the type of artist, vocalist, producer, or songwriter you would like to work with, and whether you are open to lyric use, melody writing, production, co-writing, or royalty-share discussions.

Songbay provides the platform, artist pages, search visibility, contact links, direct messaging, and collaboration areas to help creators connect. We do not normally arrange individual introductions for every member, but our tools are designed so interested artists and buyers can find and contact you directly.
